Ken Alexander, B.A., LL.B.
For the past fifteen years Ken’s professional activities have focused exclusively on labour and employment law litigation. Ken’s practice encompasses a broad range of employment law matters, including wrongful dismissal, human rights, sexual harassment, Employment Standards Act rights and complaints, employment contracts, disability claims, collective bargaining agreements, fraud, fiduciary duties, labour relations, injunctions, cross-border labour issues, non-competition covenants, misrepresentation, defamation and class actions, as well as providing advice on all aspects of employment law and civil litigation. Ken regularly appears before all levels of court in Ontario, as well as the Ontario Labour Relations Board, Employment Standards Referees and the Human Rights Tribunal of Ontario.
Ken has developed a reputation as an experienced, thoughtful, ethical and skilled litigator with a no-nonsense approach to finding the most practical and cost-effective solutions for his clients. He has served as winning counsel on several leading employment law decisions in Ontario, including Allstate Insurance Co. of Canada v. Laroque (2008), 64 C.C.E.L. (3d) 119, where Ken successfully defended a former employee of a major national insurance company against an injunction application that would have devastated the employee’s independent insurance brokerage.
Ken is a former instructor at the University of Western Ontario Law School and lecturer in continuing legal education seminars for the Ontario Bar Association, Canada Law Book and the Law Society of Upper Canada.
Ken obtained his LL.B. from the University of Windsor in 1992, where he was the recipient of the John Whiteside Award in recognition of his outstanding contribution to the University’s Faculty of Law. He is a former member of the Canadian Armed Forces Reserve.

Ryan Wozniak, B.A., LL.B.
Ryan practices exclusively in the areas of employment law and civil litigation, providing advice and representation to both employers and employees. Ryan’s practice is focused on providing strategic employment advice and litigating disputes over issues such as just cause, wrongful dismissal, constructive dismissal, provincial and federal human rights, collective bargaining, employment standards violations and Canada Labour Code complaints.
In addition to providing full consultation and representation in judicial and administrative forums, Ryan assists his clients in implementing policies and procedures which minimize the potential for employment related disputes, as well as providing comprehensive reviews of internal human resources practices and employee contracts.
Ryan regularly appears before all levels of Court in Ontario, as well as the Ontario Labour Relations Board, boards of referees and provincial and federal human rights tribunals.
Ryan is a former instructor of civil litigation at Seneca College in Toronto, where he taught in the legal administration department. He is also a registered agent with the Professional Hockey Players’ Association.
Ryan graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2005 and was called to the Ontario Bar in 2006. Prior to attending law school, Ryan studied economics and sports administration at Laurentian University in Sudbury, Ontario.
